Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered

๐Ÿ•ท️๐Ÿ—ฝ Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered – PC Game Review (Played on RTX 3050 + i5 13th Gen)

๐Ÿ” Overview

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered, developed by Insomniac Games and ported by Nixxes, is a high-octane open-world superhero game set in a stunningly recreated New York City. You play as Peter Parker, balancing his double life as a scientist and Spider-Man while facing off against iconic villains like Mr. Negative, Doc Ock, Kingpin, and more.

The Remastered version features improved visuals, ray tracing, DLSS, ultra-wide support, and includes all 3 DLCs (The City That Never Sleeps).

๐Ÿ–ฅ️ Performance on My Gaming PC

Specs Used:

  • GPU: RTX 3050 8GB

  • CPU: Intel i5 13th Gen

  • RAM: 16GB DDR4

  • Storage: SSD

  • Resolution: 1080p

  • Settings Used: High + DLSS Balanced

๐ŸŽฎ FPS & Stability:

  • High settings @1080p with DLSS Balanced: 60–75 FPS swinging through city

  • Without DLSS: 45–55 FPS with drops in heavy combat

  • Ray tracing ON (Medium) + DLSS Ultra Performance: Playable ~35–45 FPS, but not ideal

  • Best experience: High settings, RT off, DLSS Balanced = Smooth and beautiful

  • SSD recommended — fast loading, no pop-ins or streaming lag

๐Ÿ‘️ Graphics & Visuals

  • Stunning recreation of NYC with high-rise buildings, weather effects, sunsets, and neon glow

  • Spider-Man’s suits are incredibly detailed, down to individual threads and scratches

  • Combat effects (webs, slow motion, particles) look and feel cinematic

  • RTX 3050 handles High settings easily, and DLSS helps maintain visual fidelity

  • Ray tracing looks great but hits FPS hard on 3050 — use only if you prefer visual polish over performance

๐Ÿ•ธ️ Gameplay & Combat

  • Web-swinging is the highlight of the game — fast, fluid, and incredibly fun

  • Traversal blends swinging, parkour, wall-running, zip-lines, and air tricks

  • Combat is Arkham-style with aerial combos, gadgets, dodges, and finishers

  • Tons of gadgets: Web Bombs, Electric Webs, Drones, Trip Mines, etc.

  • Combat is fast, flashy, and strategic, especially at higher difficulties

  • Skill trees let you unlock new moves and abilities as you level up

๐Ÿ“œ Story & Characters

  • Fantastic original narrative that balances superhero action and Peter’s personal struggles

  • Emotional, mature writing with strong character arcs

  • Features MJ, Miles Morales, Aunt May, Otto Octavius, Norman Osborn, Silver Sable, Black Cat, and more

  • Voice acting is top-tier — Yuri Lowenthal as Peter Parker is excellent

  • Story cutscenes are fully cinematic and blend seamlessly with gameplay

๐ŸŒ† Open World & Side Content

  • Fully explorable Manhattan with activities in every district

  • Side missions include:
    ✅ Crimes
    ✅ Bases
    ✅ Research Labs
    ✅ Photo Ops
    ✅ Challenges (Screwball & Taskmaster)
    ✅ Backpack & collectible hunting

  • You can unlock over 40 suits, each with unique powers

  • Fast travel is almost instant on SSD

๐ŸŽง Sound & Music

  • Bombastic, heroic soundtrack that dynamically reacts to your actions

  • Swinging feels even better with the orchestral build-up

  • Great ambient city sounds and character dialogue

  • Voice acting is expressive and full of personality

  • Every footstep, thwip, and explosion is clean and satisfying

๐ŸŽฎ Replay Value

  • Main story: ~20–25 hours

  • 100% completion + DLCs: ~35–40 hours

  • 3 DLCs (Heist, Turf Wars, Silver Lining) add new stories, enemies, and suits

  • NG+ with Ultimate difficulty for more challenge

  • Tons of suit combos, side quests, and collectibles

๐Ÿ‘ Pros

  • Outstanding web-swinging mechanics

  • Strong story and character development

  • Runs great on RTX 3050 with DLSS

  • Visually stunning open world

  • Tons of suits, upgrades, and side content

  • All DLCs included in Remastered

๐Ÿ‘Ž Cons

  • Ray tracing impacts performance on RTX 3050

  • Side activities can get repetitive late-game

  • Combat may feel too easy on Normal difficulty

  • Locked to playing only as Spider-Man (not the rest of the team)

Final Verdict

Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered is a must-play superhero experience that nails everything — from swinging through NYC to facing off against supervillains. On your RTX 3050 + i5 13th Gen, it runs beautifully at High settings with DLSS, delivering smooth 60+ FPS gameplay. While ray tracing is possible, the sweet spot is performance-focused settings for a responsive and fluid experience.

Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
๐Ÿ•ธ️ Must-play for superhero fans, open-world gamers, and action lovers
